Strawberry Delight

2 boxes Strawberry Junkit- found in the Jello aisle or I use the strawberry gel premade
3 quarts Fresh strawberries
3 1/2 cups water
3 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
16 ounces Cool Whip
1 Angel food cake


In a medium saucepan combine 2 boxes of Strawberry Junkit and 3 1/2 cups of water, stir and allow to boil for 1 minute; stirring constantly. Set aside to cool. Wash and cut the tops off of 3 qts. of strawberries, then slice strawberries into smaller sections. Set aside. Combine 3 small instant vanilla pudding packages with 3 cups of milk and beat til blended. Add 16 Ounces of Cool Whip and beat that til blended. Set aside. Shred 1 Angel food cake and place cake in a 9x13 non greased cake pan. Spread cake out to cover bottom of pan and then spread pudding mixture all over the cake until it is covered completely. Add strawberries to Junkit and mix until strawberries are covered and then spread the strawberry mixture of the pudding mixture. You can also do this in a large bowl. The layers are Cake- Pudding Mixture- Strawberry Mixture Refridgerate for about 1 hour before serving. Enjoy, this is one of my families favorites!
